Earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology, Brittany furthered her education by obtaining her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Virginia Tech in 2022. She has since completed her residency requirements and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

Brittany is married to her high school sweetheart, Tyler, and together they share a growing family, including their baby boy, whom they welcomed this summer. Brittany has absolutely loved stepping into motherhood and enjoys soaking up time with her little one and family. They also share two loving dachshunds and a rescue beagle. In her free time, Brittany enjoys surfing or snowboarding depending on the season, playing pickleball, and spending time with those closest to her.

Flourished Counseling began as an idea driven by the undeniable lack of mental health care in rural communities. Brittany is passionate about serving individuals who have limited access to resources due to their geographical location. Her vision for Flourished Counseling is to provide accessible, wellness-based mental health care that expands service delivery, reduces wait times, and helps individuals feel supported in their journey toward growth and well-being.
